Participants will examine how to develop whole-school influence, lead change effectively, work successfully with senior colleagues, and contribute to school improvement beyond their own department or phase.

Course Leader
Andy Carroll began his career in challenging comprehensive schools in Yorkshire before moving into the independent sector, where he has held a range of leadership roles and served on successful senior leadership teams.
He is currently a member of his school’s SLT, helping increase Sixth Form numbers by over 90%. He holds the NPQSL and a Master’s in Education Leadership and Management, with research focused on progression from Middle to Senior Leadership.
Alongside his school role, he creates educational leadership content on social platforms and speaks at conferences on leadership progression, school culture and developing high-performing teams.
