We will explore the characteristics of high performing students, and you will leave with a vast range of resources and practical strategies that will enable you to meet the needs of your most able students and ultimately increase A/ A* grade attainment at A Level and GCSE grades 8/9.

4.30pm: High impact strategies to stretch and challenge our most able students
- Questioning techniques to push and challenge our more able students.
- Tier 3 Language and reading beyond the specification.
- Differentiation strategies

5.00pm: Planning for progress!
- The shorter questions: what are the potential pitfalls?
- Focus on the extended questions and essays: How to focus on quality responses not quantity?
- Revision ideas to help students produce high grade essays.
- Results analysis and action planning.
