ABOUT THIS COURSE
This webinar addresses the sensitive and critical issue of coping with bereavement and supporting both staff and students through their grief. Participants will learn about the emotional and psychological impact of bereavement, recognising common signs and behaviours associated with grief. The session will cover strategies for providing emotional support to students and creating a compassionate school environment, as well as approaches to supporting grieving colleagues and fostering a supportive workplace culture. Additionally, participants will explore resources and policies to assist both staff and students during times of bereavement, ensuring a holistic approach to pastoral care and wellbeing.
